Welcome to NPS Family Travel!

This project began as a means of gathering people to share our family’s love of the National Parks.

Back in 2016, our son set a goal to earn his Junior Ranger Badges at every U.S. National Park. Visiting all of the parks soon became a family goal.

Someday I will publish a book about just how deeply I believe this journey has “saved” me, but, suffice it to say, my writing and my courses are all love letters to these places that have become the settings of my family’s story.

As for now, I am a mother, a teacher, a writer, and a relentless adventurer. If you see me “out in the wild,” be sure to talk to me about our beloved, National Parks!

CamiĀ Gill is an artist, mom, Autism specialist, and former public school educator. She is also known to make a swoon worthy cup of coffee.

As the daughter of a career Air Force veteran, she moved around a lot as a child. However, her nomadic experience as led her to find comfort and a little piece of home in every place she visits.

She loves to travel, especially when it involves camping and overlanding. She currently lives just outside of Austin, Texas with her partner, their six children, and their two fur babies.

Their current life goal is to take their kids to all of the National Parks within the continental US before they graduate from high school.
